by: Dave Pando Nick Slowiak is more than just a paintball player. He’s a business man, philanthropist, a star on Houston Heat, and overall just a great guy. You don’t see many pro players making gestures like he did this past weekend at the SIDS Awareness Tournament at i:70. What made you want to be a part of this event? When Joe fist told me about losing his son and that he was going to hold this event, all I … →
After a LOT of anticipation, the SIDS Awareness 3-man Tournament ended up being a major success. Joey Phlipot raised over $10,000 (and counting) towards his new foundation in his son’s name, the Landen Thomas Phlipot Foundation. Players walked away with more than just a feeling of gratitude after this event. They either left with awesome prizes, INSANE raffle items, or a picture with soon to be paintball legend Nick Slowiak, but more than anything players walked away with a sense … →
by Dave Pando I’m coaching Imperial from the sidelines at the 2012 Phoenix Open, and they can’t be touched, even in the finals. 3-0, 4-0, 4-1, just massacre after massacre. They only lost 2 points throughout the entire tournament. After the finals match I walk up to the team and behind me I see their Captain Nate Lelle and teammate Cody Shook sprinting full speed to the parking lot.

The Buckeyes were the big heroes for Ohio at the NCPA College Paintball Championships this past weekend. The prelims were great for most of the Ohio college teams playing Class AA. Akron, OU, and OSU all made it to the next round… but OSU did it with style. They went 4-0 and grabbed a 5th overall seed out of 50 teams.
by: Dave Pando The time has finally come for the 2012 NCPA National Championships! Akron, Ohio University, and Ohio State are headin’ south to Lakeland, Florida to represent our state on the biggest stage in collegiate paintball. A lot of people underestimate this event, take it for granted, treat it like it’s this underling to competitive paintball that could never compare to the PSP or NPPL. What I want everyone to realize is that the NCPA National Championships are … →
A long time paintball player, Joey Phlipot, lost his son to SIDS only moths ago. Today he is using paintball as a way to raise money for his local hospital to help aid the cause. This event is important not only to Joey, but to the entire community.
A sexy collection of old-school Ohio ballers are representing us HARD in Southern California at the 2012 NPPL Surf City Open! After going 4-0 on Friday and 3-1 Saturday, Ohio Power (playing for Steve Pisek of Pinnacle Woods) is sitting at a NICE 3rd seed going into Sunday in D3 7-man. If they bring home one of those massive NPPL 1st place trophies to Ohio… THERE BETTER BE A PARADE!!! Good luck boys!
