The Paintball Club at The University of Akron is looking to make some major impressions on the college paintball community. The club was founded in the spring of 2011, and since then they have competed in 8 competitive events, gathered over 200 members, and built a fundraising base to back the program. The newly formed University of Akron club will be attending several Class AA NCPA events this year, but all of their work is being directed towards a “coming out party”, attending their first Class A X-Ball event at the NCPA National Championships this spring. With a large active membership base and a core of dedicated athletes, The Paintball Club at The University of Akron is swinging for the fences.
